Vida is a British Girl Group formed in 2010, consisting of band members AJ, V.vee, Jade & Che3kz With their Vocal harmonies, infectious choreography, energy and attitude, Vida is sure to have u on the edge of your seat. So far the girls have achieved a great deal through their hard work and determination, they definitely have that ‘Girl Power’ drive.
They have been working closely with (JLS founding member) Oritsé Williams after he spotted their talent towards the end of last year at a live show. Vida are also an award winning band, holding the title of “Britain’s next Urban Superstar” at the Urban Music awards 2011.
Vida and their distinctive pop, dub reggae influenced sound are set to take the music scene by storm. Their musical influences are inspired by artists from Bob Marley to Rihanna, Ms Dynamite, M.I.A and Gwen Steffani but still with the fun element of the Spice girls.
Vida have been recognized by some of the country’s biggest Radio DJ’s, Trevor Nelson, Reggie Yates, Rickie n’ Melvin, Fearne Cotton and also had one of their songs aired on Choice FM. Vida have recently done shows up and down the country and most recently supported Chipmunk at the o2 Arena in London. They have a great support network from their fans who call themselves ‘VidaNation’!
